NANI CASTLE
NYC borough thorough - Bronx-born, Staten Island-raised rapper, dancer & vocalist Emiliana Castillo aka Nani Castle - is the daughter of a Chilean-exile father and rebellious Irish-American mother from Queens. Castle has been working hard since releasing her mixtape Amethyst Tape last year to mysterious acclaim. For her debut album Sin York, she’s back in the studio with longtime musical partner Udachi, who handled full production duties. Castle offers up introspective and experiential lyrics about surviving in New York City as young teacher and artist. She speaks to the Island life-mentality as fast-paced changes masked under the guise of “development” not only threaten the identity of native New Yorkers, but working-class people everywhere. SIN YORK - short for Staten Island, New York - is a love/hate letter to her hometown under these conditions. In a style coined “working-class dance music,” Nani keeps it real and rugged like the streets she commutes through everyday to work with her timbs and ballet shoes in tow, spewing lyrical venom with intelligence and singing towards hope for a higher future.

Sussie 4 was formed in the summer of 1998 in Guadalajara, Mexico, by music producer César Gudiño (keyboards, synths, program systems) and instrumentalist Odín Parada (guitar, percussion, voice). Acid Cabaret, Paris Cuba, Electro Song, and other categories do not describe entirely the eclectic mix that Sussie 4 delivers. The term which best defines their sound is the one that gives title to their debut album, Música Moderna (modern music), released in 2002 by Nopal Beat/EMI. Music from this album was featured in a number of popular compilations of electronic music and helped the band become known in the electronic music scene throughout Australia, Japan, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Brazil, and other countries worldwide. In all four of their studio albums, Sussie 4 have collaborated with various well-known Latin singers and artists, such as Denisse Guerrero of Belanova, Alex Sergi of Miranda!, León Larregui of Zoé, Valentina González, and Ely Guerra.

THE PHILHARMONIK
The newest member of the Sol Life record label, The Philharmonik brings a revitalizing sense of urgency and musical depth to the shallows of the current mainstream Hip Hop landscape. 2016’s self produced Good People sounds like John Legend had a time machine and traveled back to grab J. Dilla, pre-Kardashian Kanye West, and Fredric Chopin to have a jam session. Already capturing the eye of West Coast music lovers and critics alike, the 23 year old phenom is currently working on the follow-up to the contemplative and soulful Good People. The Philharmonik’s self-titled release takes listeners on a journey from soulful R&B and runs the gamut to Funk and Trap to Trip Hop and Future House. Talented and versatile, passionate and personal, The Philharmonik is a refreshingly creative force whether singing, rapping, producing, playing keys, or engineering a session.

Now at the age of 22, two EPs and one album later “el drome” as he’s lovingly called by many, has accomplished more than any other musician in such short time, having played over one hundred shows in 2017 and touring all over South America.

TRILLONES

AVANTIST
AVANTIST BY DEFINITION... is to be an Avant Gardist and this term aptly describes the post rock music churned out by four brothers from Chicago. Good art is of war, toil and struggle and the art produced by the brothers in Avantist is eclectic, hard-hitting, infectious, comical and even unpredictable at times. Having little prior musical experience, the brothers have drawn inspiration from everything in their lives, ranging from film, brotherly fracas, and the sound of their father's classically trained Mariachi voice. The result is that Avantist brings you something unique that transcends the singular sub-genre of post rock while still remaining relevant and entertaining. Avantist "Tidalwave" music video.

Radim Vojtek and Martin Deyl, long-time friends who performed together in a cymbalom ensemble, founded the VojoDeyl Duo in 2016.  The impulse came from a popular Czech singer, Aneta Langerová, who invited Radim and Martin to perform with her on her tour.

RICKY LIONTONES
100% American Music. No snake-oil, just snakeskin rockin’, jaw droppin' Rock’n’Roll as the good lord intended with no amendment. You’ve been sold lies by clever men in business ties, no-good dudes with dollar-driven attitudes.
....But I'm here to tell you that there is salvation...
Here at the Ricky Liontones camp we believe that you can be saved from this atrocity known as “modern rock”. Simply by taking our hands in what's known as the unholy matrimony of sound and silence and let your hips do the talking. We don’t ascribe to genres, colors, race, sexual orientation, or religious affiliations. That is for folks who want to live in the box instead of tap dance upon it or throw it over a cliff (oh boy, wouldn’t that be fun?!). We welcome you as long as you welcome yourself to a good time.

ShotsFired! ShotsFired!
formed right after the presidential election. Although they've only been a band for a year and a half they've been raging shows from backyards in La Villita to almost every club/bar/venue in Chicago to San Juan, Puerto Rico to Queens,NY, Wisconsin and Minnesota. You do not wanna miss this super charged performance.

KARMA WEARS WHITE TIES
“KWWT is an indie pop band from the south side of Chicago.
All three members, Brian Flores (vocals and rhythm guitar), Jesse Flores (bass), and Dante Zonzo (guitar), joined forces back in 2015. The two brothers, Jesse and Brian, were looking for a lead guitarist so they could start playing live shows, and they found Dante, who fit in with their sound perfectly. Brian describes the brotherly dynamic in the group as “the best thing ever. We’ve never had any problems with it; if anything it brought us closer.”
The boys might be young (Brian is the oldest and only 21 years old), but they have a sound that resonates with a completely captivated audience. From being verified on Spotify and having over 8,000 monthly listeners, to gaining traction on multiple released EPs, Karma Wears White Ties is just starting to break ground. Their biggest inspiration for music is the profound rock band Interpol.
Brian’s voice is completely beyond his years, and the band as a whole stands out from the mainstream pop that is currently taking over the industry. Their songs are catchy, but they have a depth to them that other pop bands cannot quite grasp.” - Timi Ikene, Music Garage
